Description
Written by DC's most important writer of all time, Gardner Fox, The Curse of The Mad Monk was one of the most important Batman storylines in the character's history and lore (not because he fired a gun on panel for the first time in the Golden Age). This issue debuted many elements into Batman's history, in terms of gadgets and vehicles. It also served as the first time Batman delved right into the realm of the supernatural. In the DC Unlimited, this bit of history along with other golden and silver age stories are considered canon with a modern update, thanks in part to Batman The Animated Series, and The Batman series.
