This is an incredible picture, especially with how you managed to hide "the evil" in plain sight.

Don't care much for distorted fables of theology, but this is a splendid work of art.

Excellent and fabulous image with a great presentation of light and evil ... just one little history lessons.

Lucifer is a Latin word derived from two words, lux (light) and fero (to bear–to bring), meaning light-bearer, light-bringer. In Roman mythology, Lucifer was a deity equivalent to the Greek Heosphorus, and the planet Venus was known by the name Lucifer in Roman astrology before being given its current name. In the early Christianity, Lucifer has become synonymous with Satan or the Devil ... but Lucifer was a personification of the Morning Star Venus, the planet und it's goddess. He was therefore originally a "she" a divine representation of love and light and human warmth and the early christian church appropriated the name lucifer to an archangel who was banished from heaven.

St. Jerome's Vulgate wrong latin translation first makes Lucifer to the principal of the fallen angel and the early christian church thought it was not a propper name of the devil and transformed it into the name satan.... correct translation from latin would be - light of the morning - signs of the zodiac - the aurora - glory of heaven .

Nevertheless ... the image is incredible and extra ordinary and I love that you use the colour blue for this. The remarkable details on the wings are magnificent and harmonized very much with the background itself. Excellent work on the evil face and you're truly a master in this kind of work.

Hi Juergen, thanks so much for commenting, your in depth comments are more than appreciated!!!
At to your little “history” lessons, well that’s what I wanted to say with my picture, the star over his head is the morning star, even the planet in the back is the Venus not the moon (ok ok, a blue Venus is a bit strange, but hey that’s artistic freedom, bwahaha), I just wanted to make him men not human cause no one thinks about a woman when it comes to the devil .
I just mixed some Lucifer mythologies together and came up with this piece ….

I thought thatthis is the venus and you can find different colours. I've noticed the star and the light in his hands ... light bearer or light bringer ... awesome concept and very well done. didn't read the title of yours Bringer Of Light only your own comment before his fall

I love your mixed up mythologies and as I said before .. a truly master only can create such an awesome piece of work

Very nice, I love the background. But the dark shading on his face looks a bit too dark for such environment.
