Description
Story concept art and game mechanics of Alien Deception: Part 5 out of 11.
Yes, Colonial Marines are back. But these are pre-Aliens marines, and they are not a friendly bunch of people. Amanda Ripley has to fight these guys in order to survive, just to keep up with the Alien: Isolation theme. And to put a extra spin to it, marines are being deceived to be your enemy, so you can take the moral high ground and avoid them as best as you can, or use non-lethal tactics. Or you can go guns blazing, but then you'll get the bad ending. Basically every marine class will open fire at you, if they spot you.
Medic: Medics treat the wounded marines on the battlefield. They won't help you. But they are the best source for medicine and health items, if you are able to take those from them.
Combat Engineer: Combat engineers are most occupied by building bridges, trenches and bunkers on Kio. Occasionally they can been spotted fixing vehicles and machines. They are easily sneaked by without noticed, but if they do, they'll stop what they are doing and try to kill you.
Grunt: Grunts are the common footsoldiers found on Kio and streets of Bellerophon Bluff. They are on search and destroy missions and guard important facilities. They are armed to the teeth and well armored. Engaging them in combat may be the last thing you'll ever do.
Heavy: Grunts may call for support when pinned down. Support comes in a form of a Heavy, fully armored and armed with a smartgun, able to take indirect explosions and heavy gunfire with ease, basically one man army. His multieye system can see 360 degrees of the battlefield and has build-in nightvision and thermal modes, making hiding from them nearly impossible.
