Short Round, portrayed by Ke Huy Quan (Temple of Doom, Loki Season 2). Yes. Short Round returns. The boy known as Short Round, real name Wan Li, born on February 8, 1926. Orphaned during the Japanese bombing of Shanghai in 1932. Li picked up his alias as a pickpocket on the streets of his home town and tried to rob the man he would later know as Dr. Jones. Rather than see the youngster arrested, the archaeologist took him under his wing.

It's a crime against cinema that Ke Huy Quan couldn't reprise his role as Short Round, he was great in Everything Everywhere All At Once, in Loki Season 2, and he won a OSCAR, and still they went with Kathleen Kennedy's self-insert character, Helena?! Do they hate money?! Are they total imbeciles?! Oh, they had Shorty in the cards, I've seen the concept art. I don't know which one hurts more, how they treated Indy, or how they rejected Short Round!

But I digress, I brought Shorty back, his backstory will be expanded in Fortunate Son, you'll know in exhausting detail what Short Round has been up to from 1932-1969. Pairing up with Indy for his last and most dangerous adventure. We do classic role reversal, Shorty is "Indy" and Indy becomes "Henry Jones Senior", Shorty would bring Jackie Chan type kung fu hilaricity in the action and much needed levity.
