Slag is a mean spirited jerk, he hates everybody, even his fellow Dinobots to an extent. He despises Earth and finds human beings to be fleshy disgusting nightmares. What he does enjoy is battle, to destroy his enemies with his bare hands fuels Slag's potentially sociopathic tendencies and keeps his anger in check when around his team-mates, especially Optimus Primal whom he( like the other Dinobots) has a personal dislike for.

Slag's beast mode is Bastiodon.
