butlezac001 [2019-05-10 18:44:12 +0000 UTC]
Well your in luck.
There are several dinosaurs (and dino-relatives) in the Primeval series.

butlezac001 [2019-05-10 17:50:00 +0000 UTC]
I understand. And uh, coincidentally do you like dinosaurs?

Jarvisrama99 In reply to butlezac001 [2019-05-10 17:53:58 +0000 UTC]
I like them, though mostly in movie form.

butlezac001 [2019-05-10 17:13:44 +0000 UTC]
Yes they are.
I own the very first 3 seasons.
You'll love it.
(And they are villains, so metaphorically speaking, they aren't exactly "fine", I'm NOT judging you, I'm explaining that the characters are deranged villains)ย

I meant they seem like the villains have been written fine. No I don't sympathise with fictional people who have done horrible things. Although I'm not sure it being a good idea to have their demises and impact on the series being spoiled before getting the chance to watch the show.

Is it okay if I here what you think on all the villains written down (I really like responses about them)

They all sound fine. They're from the tv series, correct?

The Smilodon is a creative concept.

Some of the villains of Primeval and Primeval: New World are as the list follows. (Creatures and Humans) (The only ones I know about)
Helen Cutter: The main human antagonist of the entire original franchise. She is a delusional scientist with a mental illness, in the 1st and 2nd series, she appeared to be good and bad at the same time. In the 3rd series, she is fully evil and delusional. From murdering her own ex-husband to becoming convinced that humanity is " a stain upon the face of the planet", so she uses a technological artifact to travel through an anomaly to the time of the first human so she can stop humanity's existence, she killed a couple at first, but she failed when a raptor knocked her off the cliff. Despite her demise, she had a massive impact/influence on the remaining series.
Future Predators: Evolved bat-like creatures from the future, they are evolved bats, they grow big and lose their wings and fur, taking on a scaly, primate appearance, they walk on all fours and have zero eyes, but they have a heart-sensing vision, that have sharp teeth and claws and run very fast.
Camouflage Beast: Gremlin-like primates from the future that can camouflage in any background, making them invisible, but when visible they have big eyes, large ears, sharp claws, no tail, and is usually bipedal.
Oliver Leek: A manipulative, power-hungry man that works for Helen Cutter and somehow gets his hands on a handful of creatures from the previous episodes, he imprisons them and uses the main heroes and tries to use a couple of mind-controlled future predators to kill them, but the former main character hijacks the device control, and the predators tear and rip Leek into shreds as he screams.
Christine Johnson: A ruthless, uncivil, stone-hearted military liaison, she works for Helen Cutter and has her men hunt for a priceless, technological artifact for Helen, she shows no remorse for anyone and often scolds her own men for their failures. In the closing of the third season, Helen betrays her at gunpoint, but an anomaly opens up and she is dragged by a Future Predator into the anomaly and eaten.
Valerie Irwin: A delusional, overprotective park ranger, she found a young Smilodon in her garage and took it under her care, believing it to be an escaped genetic experiment, when the heroes arrive to get the prehistoric cat, she angrily calls the former main character out on the tiger and holds him at gunpoint, he tells her the truth, but she refuses to listen and sets the Smilodon on him, he escapes alive from the house with the tiger in hot pursuit, Valerie then appears and screams for the man not to hurt the tiger, which was in a frenzy at the moment, she tries to calm it down, but the big cat suddenly pounces on her and mauls her before he is tranquilized.
Smilodon: A prehistoric big cat, with sharp claws and long canine teeth, fast speed and lived during the time after the dinosaurs.
Tree Creeper: A very fictional dinosaur, it is a raptor with long monkey-like arms and tail. They climb trees and hunt in packs.
Albertosaurus: A small tyrannosaur, with a missing arm and scars on it. The Albertosaurus is the main antagonist of New World. He came through an anomaly in a Canadian Factory, he killed the main character's wife and devoured most of her lower body (a bloody photo of her corpse is present), the main character is haunted by visions of the dinosaur throughout the series, but in the final series, the theropod returns and attacks Canada, the main character tries to get back to its anomaly, but it returns and he guns it down.

I know a British television series that would suit your deviantart fame. (I own the first 3 series)
It's called "Primeval".
It's about a group of people that find fourth-dimensional portals called anomalies, and creatures from the past And future escape into present day England.
There are 5 seasons in the original series and 1 season in the Canadian spinoff, Primeval: New World.
(It's region 2, so it won't work on American DVD players, just computers only) I think you'll like it though.

Wouldn't it be cool if it was filmed in black and white and making it feel old-fashioned? So that, maybe they could make this movie to become what the creators of the original had intended it to be like? I mean, the movie is unintentionally silly with how the bird looks like, but I'm sure they wanted to make it look and feel terrifying. I haven't seen the whole movie myself, but it seems like they really cared to build the atmosphere around it. And, with the right pay-off, I think it could work.
Heck, imagine if it's done with a combination of practical effects and CGI? That could be awesome.

Not really their fault, the studio wanted to save costs and instead of getting Ray Harryhausen they instead went with a Mexican special effects studio.ย
Though the worst part that theater was in his home town.ย

I do too, but he had a successful career on TV and television, you never know that a movie you're hired on will end up being like Plan 9 From Outer Space. LOL
