unbalanced?
I really like the colors here, they are warm, but the scene is not. green skies? makes me think of RH. I like how the girl is sort of side-glancing at the guy, and he is looking away.
my mother is a libra...would make a nice print, I think.

Talk about sublimity of color --
I often paint just this sort of lurid lime green sky....
the topsy turvy perspective is fantastic -- and i love the almost cezxanne like treatment of the brush strokes of the ground... the guy's expression -- casually glancing off to the right is pricelessa and for some reason even makes me smile...
i love your work man, because quite apart from a totally confident and mature technique you've got two qualities I aspire to, and which i think are perhaps even more important... a REAl and genuine artistic voice and a willingness to really jump into the pool and try to grapple with the society and visual cues we live with -- rather than just, oh, say doodling blonde chicks in latex boots.

Great piece, I'm impressed. Being a Libra means knowing the ups and downs, and how to put your weight on the middle of the teeter-totter. Your illustration brings that to light very well. You're a very talented artist. Keep it p.

The sky at the top looks a little hasty.
But that's it. Other than that, this image is absolutely perfect. Normally small crop-things like the top of her head bug me, but it emphasizes the hight, so it works. Libras are never without a partner, so that totally works. She is attractive, well dressed. The see-saw was a brilliant idea for the balance, and her height gives that "alwasy right" impression. The colors are bold (and beautiful, oooh).

That Libras are about relationships confirms my feelings regarding this picture....
somehow all i see is the separation between them.. a relationship not working/falling apart. He's still supporting her and keeping her from falling, but he's distracted and looking elsewhere (doesn't share her feelings/has lost any feelings he had for her?) & the expression on their faces says it all. She seems very unhappy.. and he wants to walk away, but he doesn't want to be the one who causes her to fall. So much easier if she'd just jump off herself...
Maybe. maybe not. Just what i'm getting from it .... a great picture.

hmm.... I used to have a good mate.... who's a libra....
not so good mates now tho... so I was kind of avoiding this piece.... but I really like it so~
this is very very unique, I've never seen anyone portray Libra like this, I mean, in such a perspective and angle
I really like how you made the further one slightly more blurry, and the facial expression aint that distinguishable
it just adds a whole lot of depth to this picture~~~

I love the way you have represented the scales here.. a see-saw! Wonderful vision you have! I never would have thought of that, not in a million years! but then I could never paint an image such as this. Once again your vibrant use of color brings this whole image together to give it such life and depth. I swear I feel like I'm repeating myself! lol I've been going through your gallery heh!
