After all there adventures & tragedies, he knows that despite his sacrifice of the anchor & his left hand, that he must continue to save the world, not just for his people but for everyone; for the world his love lives in. Right now they take a deserved rest with each other, for he has another job, being Dorian's favorite pillow. He smiles as he cherishes the weight of Dorian's head on his chest... & as Dorian steals all the covers of course. Dorian listens to the beat of his heart to assure him that his amatus is alive.... & with him for now.... I wished that they ended up together but the world still needs saving & love will see them through. Lavellan dreams of a day of peace, taking Dorian's hand in marriage. hmmm..... I guess the background is busy.... but I wanted it to be something like..if there was the sparkles & light from the stained glass window. I mean, ever notice that with Dorian, there was always sparkles? I wanted colorful sparkles & soft swaying.

I agree Dorian always sparkles. That's for sure! Varric's nickname for Dorian is "Sparkler." Remember? If the background is dancing motes of light shouldn't they be at least a little transparent? I am also curious if you were upset any about Dorian leaving his Inquisitor when you conceived your painting?

oh YES! I was heart broken. They have Cullen & Sera & EVEN IRON BULL get married. BUT NOOOOooooo... they were like, Hey, they still see each other... I was like.. OH HELL NO! SERA even gets a DAMN WEDDING???? OH no....NO! So yeah I was mad. I was LIVID! Still Dorian is by my Lavellan side at the end of the game. He is still part of the Inquisition to me... still mad though about it. I drew this because I think when Lavellan visits, he cherishes Dorian every second he can...even in sleep... & Dorian loves to use him as his pillow... to listen to his heart beat to lull him to dream.

I don't have Trespasser yet and from what I've heard I am starting to think I am in NO rush to get it. I don't need Dorian leaving me. I don't need to lose my left hand. What happened to fantasy being pleasant?

OH man I know! I was like...wait... when do we get to ride a dragon? I mean Halla's are cool but I was to ride a dragon! Come on! I was conflicted about getting the DLC but I do love to hear Dorian say how much he LOVES Lavellan. It is so beautiful. Also Krem gets a girlfriend but only if you have high approval & make Cole more spirit. BTW where is this comic? Can you link it to me?

Excellent job! Love the softness of the scene and the style of strokes you used to capture it! Dorian was always my fav ally in the game regardless of the gender or type of Inquisitor I played. He deserves to be happy after all he (potentially) goes through!
