Description
I do not own invader zim or any of the characters. I am just an insignificant insect that is just a fan. All characters belong to Jhonen Vasquez and nickelodeon.
This one I call "Rain" for the reason that is the name of Zim and Gaz's child. Gaz and Zim first made contact in the rain, and then as you can see in the bottom panel... that they are caught up in the moment in the rain. I at first thought maybe storm, but that is overused and allot of people would have thought X-men. I just came back from training and this is something I doodled in class. Rain seems like a perfect name for their kid IF they ever had one. I am not a big fan of OC IZ characters. However, there are those that I do like... I am not writing a fan fic on the child... I drew this as I was reading the story "Unlikely Romance [link] " and thought if they did have a kid... well, I just didn’t want the kid looking all mutant like, especially since I wanted their offspring to have that, "I can make my own adventures" kind of feel to her.
I just thought of it… as I was listening to that one song Riahana’s “Umbrella”

ONLY CRAP! I have a female Irken-Hybrid fan made character as well! However her father is a human (Dib) and mother is an Irken (Tak). If you're curious her name is Datr (Irken name) or San (human name).

Good work. Though in all fairness I have to tell you that you're not the only one who's come up with the name Rain for Gaz and Zim's offspring. I think it's called AlienvsZim on fanfiction.net, but at least you have a reason behing the name.

ummm... actually I suggested him the idea to name the kid Rain in the fan fiction... He liked it so he went with it.

You're welcome. How did you come up with the name Rain anyway? Strange how humans can name their children after such plain and generic things isn't it. But despite this they are often poetic. Rain is such a name, that means the water falling from the sky. But It is a beautiful name and indeed very poetic. You designed her perfectly as well. She appears human, but has Antenna, just like I pictured a child of theirs. It makes sense considering human genes dend to dominate over alien ones, especially if the mother is human. Anyway enough of my rambling. Once again good job on this peice, I thought I fovorited it though, well it is now.

She named her that since Gaz and Zim actually shared one of their earliest moments in the rain, thus the rain itself becoming a constant in their relationship. Jasmine has bounced several ideas off of me and I her, and she's honest to God brilliant in her work.

She's beautiful. Period. I couldn't think of anyone more beautiful to be Zim and Gaz's daughter. She has traits of both of them: Gaz's beautiful yet derelict eyes, Zim's antenna and hair (along with his warrior nature), and her name is what they both met under.
Throughout the 1760s through 1780s, there was an artistic movement in Germany called "Sturm und Drang", founded by Hamann, Goethe, and Schiller, in which the subjectivity of the individual, along with extremes in emotions, against the suppression of the Enlightenment movement were the primary component. It ranged quite a bit in terms of the emotions expressed, whether sadness, anger, anxiety, or excited outbursts. Characters within literature had an anti-aristocratic slant and were often driven to violent means to acquire their goals, while still investigating the nature of the good and evil within themselves and their surroundings. The background of your piece, with its stormy setting suggests to me that ZAGR could possibly be a revival of this, as throughout their storm and stress, there still can be love within that. Rain then becomes a product of a "sturm und drang" relationship, characterized by the background, the mad yet elegant look in her eye, and the strong nature, despite her wrath.
