Based on a true story! "Dinosaur Friends 3" is the title. Quick background - when I was a very little girl I had some allegedly "imaginary" friends of mine which were dinosaurs. An amateur paleontologist even then, I remember them more clearly and distinctly than I do most of my other friends from that age. So I thought I'd create a series of paintings inspired by them. This is the third in the series, featuring a beautiful girl and several of her dinosaur friends (including one of my favourites - the triceratops!). Awww... That is so cute.
And I love the little story too.
Reminds me of a vivid dream I had as a child myself. I dreamed having bought some sticks of Plasticine, the one that came in a pack of about 12 colours. And that I had made tiny scale model dinosaurs out of each of the colours and put them under my bed when I went to sleep. And I was woken up (in the dream) by strange sounds. Looking under my bed the dinosaurs had all come to live and were living out a scene from prehistoric times. Including the T. Rex fighting with the Stegosaurus whilst the Brontosaur and others looked on.
I haven't thought about that dream in about 20 years or more. Thank you for reminding me of that rather sweet and amazing dream with this wonderful picture and your little story
