Gorgeous. I adore the lighting, and the butterfly is such a wonderfully subtle addition. The way you've painted it looks really traditional in texture! :]

Thanks! I struggled with it for a while. The conceptual surrealist stuff is amazingly open and freeing to work on as an artist, but it can also be paralyzing. I wanted somthing to symbolize hope and beauty, and nothing seemed to really work, until I tried a little butterfly. Sometimes it really is the simplest solutions that work the best
