Description
This is Mother Hydra, Herald of the deep, and queen of the deep ones. For this design, I wanted to make a less conventional water monster, and combine the regal elements of a jellyfish with other deep sea creatures. The floating orbs are supposed to be her eggs, new deep ones waiting to be brought to the surface.Check out the poker deck here: albinodragon.com/

Stunning; the musculature of her tentacles seem themselves almost semi-viscous, here in the preternatural light. The frills on her abdominal tendrils look beautiful.

Oh, here's a thought for ya... Lovecraft seems to be about horror and fear of the unknown and mysterious in the depths of darkness. But... what if a set of lore was made meant to be the literal anti-thesis to Lovecraft's unease and fear inducing lore?
