I kinda don't get the island fever thing here. I get a fever for the islands when I'm away and I certainly have a desire to travel elsewhere when I am here or anywhere, but I never feel like I'm gonna lose it if I don't go. Maui has so much to offer and nothing is more Han a few hours drive. This particular drive takes about 2 hrs driving slow to get from our home to Hana. Parts remind me of Big Sur and central California. You get so much change in such a short road that you can spend 3-4 hours going slow and enjoying the road and arrive to your destination without the fatigue that can come with long road trips. All that to say there is so much to do and so many ways to keep trippin that there is no real time for island fever if you just keep moving.Instagram: www.instagram.com/j_koons/
