Like Battousai, Gentatsu Takatsuki is a hitokiri in the Samurai X (Rurouni Kenshin) world, though his story is only told in the movie 'Ishinshishi no Requiem'. But unlike Battousai, in their time of chaos, he knew the important reasons for fighting - family and the protecting the peaceful lives of the living. Gentatsu continues to be one of the anime characters who I look up to.
