Biehn again! Did this a few years ago, acrylic and prisma on letter sized paper. Still one of my favorites. The Abyss is one of those movies that's fine on a casual viewing, but gets better the more you see it(Sp Edition of course) and read it. (the Orson Scott Card novel).Related content

love the part where he chucks his wedding ring into the toilet, fishes it out and his hand is blue the rest of the movie. they make such a great, great couple. this is a gem.

Quite possibly one of my favorite movies of all time. Special attention should be paid for the sheer effort and determination it took to make this film, and for your beautiful rendition of it as well.

You are so right, I've seen the movie so many times and will never get sick of it, it really makes you think about things. I need to read the book sometime!

You should be able to find the paperback at your local used book store or Amazon. It's well worth it. It fills in a lot of backstory, has a childhood story for each of the three leads and explains things from the NTI's point of view. After reading it, the next time you see the movie, it's a lot better. It's a wierd symbiotic thing.
