If it's Pre-F Frieza, Zod wins.
If it's RoF Frieza, then the fight goes to Frieza.

Frieza because of his new evolution form he gets in revival of F which can fight super saiyan god form to a stand still

After we see what kind of boost Frieza gets in the next movie this fight might be more even

I'd say Zod wins this. Frieza would put up a good fight though.

I would have to go with General Zod. While Freiza may be strong and has destroyed a planet with nothing but a flick of his finger. However when he is faced with a superior opponent he will cower in the face of them. In a similar situation Zod would instead just keep fighting even if he would lose or have already lost.
And while Frieza has been shown to be extremely powerful and bolsters a very high confidence, it's been demonstrated what will happen to that confidence and control of that power when a more powerful foe comes along. And while Zod had trouble combating Superman's knowledge and experience of what Kryptonians are capable of under a yellow sun, he has no such disadvantage against Frieza, whom Superman could easily best in a short time. And while Goku waited patiently for Frieza to reach his maximum power due to his desire for combat, Zod will want to beat his foes the second he can and will NEVER pass up a vital opening such as this. The Winner is General Zod.
