ok, so I have seen alot of your work, and I get the same feeling with most of it. But...its not really a feeling that makes sense on this end. The quality of your pictures is by all visual accounts superb, yet my eyes keep their distance...if that makes any sense. My brain tells me eyes they should like this alot, but my eyes hold firm to how they feel.
I am not saying this to criticize you or your art. Maybe most people find it fascinating (and I did once as well to follow you). Why my heart thinks one way is not always clear to me. Maybe it is the mood. Maybe it is the lack of visable eyes in most of your portraits of late...ya, I think it is that. I guess I read alot in the eyes, and when I don't see them, I don't trust them. So when I see the amazing helmet, I distrust the person behind it by instinct.
Is that a good thing or a bad thing? I really have no idea. It is certainly different from the usual art I look for.
Anyways, just to let you know what i'm thinking about your artwork. Kudos.
