Ya I don't care for Jason's look, but I feel the same way about Batman Ninja as I did the Batman telltale series if we have to keep spamming Batman over all the other heroes at less this is something different and the most interested I've been in a new Batman for awail.

its an actual japanese outfit and, as the only kind of people at the time allowed to travel between the different province, it was a costume used by spies

The costume is fine, the headgear however looks really bad, and ridiculous, doesn't fit Jason's character, this whole outfit is a kinda Japanese monk, and those kinds of monks has a rich history that kinda fits Jason's character.. If they took more time on Jason and actually gives him a better "headgear" that fits both the heritage of this monk look and his original costume, this would've been an awesome look for him, I mean just look how good Grayson design in this anime, we could have gotten something just as badass

1) my uncles wife is Japanese and she's knows who Jason Todd is, and when I show her this anime trailer she likes it (like I did) and when I show her Jason's design in this anime she laughed and agreed with me that it looks ridiculous, so it's not a race thing..
2) agreed 100% that this design is very good I already told you that, it's just the headgear that's my problem with it, I know it's an anime, I know that it's made in Japan, but it's also made with an American character, and I'm nether American or Japanese, my opinion is with a better headgear thus design would've looked as awesome as Nightwing and Red Robin design from the same movie, it's not hate, it's disappointing in what clearly with more work and love for the character this wouldn't have been an issue in the first place..
3) my opinion and feelings for this design comes from the love for both Jason and anime and Japanese culture, I love both, my dream is to go live in Japan, so this design just a let down for me, because I always wanted a Japanese version of my all time favorite character, and I wanted him to look badass, not something that people mistake with a lamp
I hope that explains my opinion, if don't agree it's all good, I can't force people to see it my way, but this is just how I feel about this whole thing

Yeah, the clothes he's wearing belongs to monks who play flutes on the street, ironic as red hood isn't a monk. Also, remember that horrible time marvel turned captain america into a hydra agent.

I don't follow sells actually, but I heard that DC is selling more and Marvel is more into politics which I find very brave of them, however dc also has some political issues, but it's not as obvious as how Marvel does it

well I do know some problems:
1. DC has Nightwing: The new order(good, yes, for some, but some can't shake off for making Nightwing a fascist)
2. Most of the new comics DC will make MMMMMMMMMMMIGHT be a ripoff of Marvel:

- Marvel's Captain marvel, who's discovered a alternate universe( Earth-3/evil version)
-Captain marvel(Carol) gets her movie.
-Batman already married Selina.
-Earth one ongoing
-Doomsday clock
-Phoenix force will return.
