Haha! Old benedict is a funny lookin' fella! But he's great though. The film didn't do much for me I'm afraid! It was alright. Just a bit souless compared to the BBC one!

I thought the american one was done more for laughs and action... - obviously our series doesn't have half the budget so it has to be better in other ways... they're so different I don't really see much point in comparing them

I know. I went in to the Downey Jr one with that in mind, but couldn't shake it! I enjoyed the action in the American one, the train bit especially, but there wasn't much mystery solving for my liking!
It'll be interesting to see Benedict in the new Star trek!

I thought there was a good chemistry between Downey and Morriati, but then Marriati in the brit holmes is SO insane he's tough to beat!

Not entirely sure, I don't think it's been announced yet. He's the villain though! Morriati in the British one is fantastic, so unhinged but pure entertainment!
