Description
The fictional castlelain for the Palace of the Sun , Lady Solar has taken on quite a personality and place in the Palace proper. As quite a few of you remember, all messages in the Palace are reputedly from Lady Solar or her pages and squires - a rather odd thing for a website to maintain, but there it is.

Seen to be quite demure and quiet, Lady Solar will meet guests to the Palace with a warm smile and an almost maidenly pose of hands clasped before her. The instant she finds you've broken one of her few rules, all kindness is gone - replaced by a righteous fury that can only be wielded by a woman. Every page tells me that they do their best to watch when Lady Solar goes after someone, as it's quite interesting.

There's a slight chance that Lady Solar will make an appearance in the story itself, as a reminder of Sailor SunHeart's un-mentioned past. More part of the taiyoziushou than SunHeart (which Sailor SunHeart says is very good...) she's the embodiment of the will of the Palace.

Very randomly, the Palace likes to be kept clean, so Lady Solar is a cleaning fanatic. There is not a spec or mote of dust in the Palace that Lady Solar will not go after. And as for the reason that she has an apron - castlelains are an odd servant folk - they're above anyone but the family they serve and high-ranked guests, but still a servant. Although she manages the Palace of the Sun, Lady Solar has her ranks only because (long ago) the Royal Family conferred lands and a title to her to avoid any "issues" with guests wanting to take advantage of the female staff.
