<- "Humanity's most powerful cleaner soldier."I finally got off my butt and watched Attack on Titan...and. it. was. AMAAAAAZING!!
So yeah...Levi's my new obsession. Expect some fan art.
At first I didn't know what to do with his hands...then I thought about how much of a clean freak he was.
I hope you guys like it! Pumped to know what happens in the next chapter!

Looks really good...but something about his eyes doesn't look...I don't know, pissed off enough?

I know, I have a hard time getting his quirks down.
Maybe there's not enough..."wrinkles"? Where his eyebrows meet.

I looked up pictures of Levi, and I THINK maybe it is that his eyes should be a bit smaller. I am not entirely sure if that is what is different though. You may be able to tell better if you go look.

Maybe. I'm barely used to drawing such small pupils for characters so I unconsciously tried to make them bigger. And in a sense, I tried drawing him similarly to how he's drawn in his side story--which is drawn by a different artist than the original. (a.mpcdn.net/manga/p/22932/4820… )

His eyes are still much smaller in that side story though.

Oh, I know. That's why I try to obviously point out what I like, but do my best to point out issues. It's hard though, because I obviously don't want to sound rude or that I don't like it, but that's where the positive part of my comment helps. Either way, I know that feel of not getting any good constructive criticism. It's what us artists really want.

Oh. I think it may also be the angle of the eyes. They seem to point down, and make him look more depressed than pissed. That may contribute more than the size of the eyes.

The depressed look was kinda what I was going for. I was all inspired by his experiences prior to his original debut. So he's probably thinking about that in this picture. Glad you caught that.
