I think this is the first real background I've done in traditional media to be honest. I liked doing it but I'm not sure how many more I'll do because of the time it takes.
And for the wings that's something I did for a few of my OCs that people liked

Tell me about it, even if I try to pull off a simple background it takes at least few evenings. Time consuming it is.
But you shouldn't be brought down by this, with practice comes improvement both in quality and speed, as you may very well know.
Wing do look cool on Luna for sure so why not use them elsewhere. I wonder how would Celestia look with such wings?

Since I draw fast it doesn't take more than a day but it's still a pain especially if I use the wrong color or one line overlaps etc..
Drives me insane really.
Eh I'm working on it more but as of right now I'm using alot of show references and due to limited colors it's not a pleasant experience.
I used it on Luna because of her connection to bat ponies and the night.
Never thought to use it on Celestia tbh.
