She's a unicorn now...
Notice people still think this is "Rider" thanks to the Your OC Sucks episode.
I want to say a few things which are...just dumb...
First: They used information that was completely wrong in the episode. The info they used was from her ORIGINAL DESIGN I made when I FIRST joined the fandom.
Second: They used the wrong design as well, her current design at the time of the episode was -
Third: Her design was changed again not to long after the episode aired as well -
Fourth: I feel the blog / podcast did a horrible job profiling OCs for their episode, I was never once asked for a confirmation on her backstory / design only asked permission for her use.
Fifth: Yes I can take a joke but this joke is now very old and annoying, I have had several blogs my OC was once ridiculed at review her and almost ALL OF THEM approve of her change and pointed out her ONLY flaw was the fact she was an alicorn. Honestly the only thing I changed? Her wings, and tail. Everything else is the same.

I really hate these "OC SUCKS" blogs. Seriously, so what if you are a bit Mary-Sue? Or even INCREDIBLY mary sue? I sure as heck have fun creating mary-sue villains. I will onlyΒ tone my mary-sues down if I plan on putting them in a story. (Like Snake. Snake was mary-sue as hell and I knew that, but I changed her for a story of mine.) Alicorn OC's are fine, your OC's are fine. I like your OC's because you do what you actually want to do, which goes from rainbow-manes, to gorey dark stuff. You know what? I love it all, and your OC's are fine. They do not suck. You change your OC's to your whim and that is cool too, so if you update her to a unicorn? NEATO.
The fact that some people have all day to ridicule other peoples creations just bugs me a lot, and I don't know why. Maybe because they are hating on something that people put love and time into. sorry for the mini rant.

Personally I don't mind the existence of the blogs if it's all in good fun and if the artist is ok with the playful mocking.
However I do not tolerate wrong information being used a in this case. Now, this happened awhile ago but I still have some problems with this scenario I was put in. The fact people keep saying Rider -the alicorn- is a bad OC when I changed her almost immediately after the post aired is annoying.
And no I did not change her because I felt forced to, it was an idea I had for many weeks leading up to it and I started testing designs soon after.

I can understand all in good play at least. That stuff is funny, and the artist is ok with it, so therefore the artist is not being hurt by it.
