I tried to incorporate more of Ayami Kojima's style in this piece. If you don't know, she is the artist for Castlevania . I bought an artbook from her recently, it is gorgeous and totally worth the $60 . Lotsa inspiration from St. Lucia of Dante's Inferno too

•This is just lineart so far, I feel like I should upload something before I color this

•There are many secrets surrounding the full power of the Guardians. Some say that the most powerful of the Guardians have the ability to tap into greater power in times of combat or need - Think of it like a Devil Trigger from Devil May Cry.

•She has transformed into an "elevated stat"e; these Guardians resemble fragments of the phoenix when they activate their trigger, with features such as wings and increased strength; but even still, their full potential remains a mystery.

Her mission is taxing, and the fate of many depend on her long trek into the darkness...

(Yes, it was cheesy, but it was the best I came up with to upload this fast )
