Moving version here: javoraj.tumblr.com/post/115030…This is another one transhumanic character which depicts how we can change our appearance through genetic modifications. My brother has told me it gives his some kind of uncanny valley feel. It means you can feel nervous when it is close to the human, but not exactly human. Maybe It is the feeling what many of us experience when we thinking about our future.

In my unpublished science fiction stories, there are several post-human factions. One of them is the "Gaians". They were originally an organization concerned about the environment in the aftermath of a relief effort brought about by an alien invasion. Before another alien race, the gierox, came down and stole the invader's technology, humans acquired some and successfully reverse engineered it. One of them was an engine that ran off of a blood-like biofuel. While it was extremely powerful and greatly assisted with relief efforts, it pollutes like hell, granted it was a semi-solid and fluid waste rather than gaseous waste. The Soviet Union (yes it still exists in my story's timeline) attempted to cover it up by claming that the waste was simple fecal and urine matter. The Gaian's then began to steal alien technology in order to blow the whistle on the Soviet's coverup by revealing the truth. After several repeated attempts to convince the world, the Gaian's eventually began to predict the fall of current human civilization due to repeated attacks on earth by the forgelings, a race of claytronic beings, and soon after began to do what every other post-human organization did: rapidly modify both their bodies and their genetic code and leave the hellhole earth was starting to become. They actually look more like a slightly greenish version of the image you drew with various vines and plants merged with their bodies. Before they did that, however, they had created various "provolves", bipedal, sapient creatures based off of various earth animals. Among them, spotted hyenas, several different breeds of horses, bonobos, and caribou. They intended that they would "inherit the earth" after the human race went extinct. They then left earth, and were never seen again.

Indeed tis excellent work, especially the eyes and facial bone structure. As an aside, what is it wearing? It seems to alternate almost between slightly hovering wire and tattoos.... Odd but elegant.
