Description Hi All!

MAJOR conversion project on a whim!

I've always liked a form of 'moe-anthropomorphism' known as 'Mecha-Musume' (Mecha/Robot girls).

Just suddenly hit on an idea to make a mecha "frame" from a gundam kit... (a Gundam Exia to be more precise lol)

Best bit is that the "frame" is component switchable! All figma figures will be able to fit on it!

All thanks to a good friend of mine whom I worked with to make this happen!

Work is still WIP though... But overall very happy with it! Now to finish assenbly and commence painting!

Will post finished project in due course...

-EDIT-

Decided to stick on a head that makes me feel less freaked out! (Konata, who else!) LOL

-EDIT- (AGAIN! )

Work is completed! View here: [link]

Did this require dismantling Konata?

Yes. But she can be pieced back.

That would scare me to disassemble her. I already broke her cowlick almost completely off a couple of weeks ago.

Did you make these your self or are these already made?

Made them myself via kitbashing.

Eeekk~! Mecha girl is headless... so do you switch model kit parts from two different series or is there already a kit bash sold online that can help you build the mecha girl from scratch?

The "frame" is made from a 1/144th scale Gundam Exia. What I mean by component switchable is that ALL figma figures can sort of "wear" the frame...

Sadly, you would have to just buy a Gundam kit and kit bash yourself (which was what I did) as I don't think there are any online.

Oh, I did not include any particular "head" coz to be honest, after attaching a head with most of the model unfinished, it was pretty freaky... Haha, just did not want anyone to freak out! lol

Just to let you know, the upper arms and upper legs I used to assemble the model to take the picture are from Kagamine Rin... Hehe, Len must be so freaked out now!
