Hunter-A019 (birth name Hunter Wick) was born into a prestigious military family in 2520 on the outer colony world of Merarth. He was consider a fairly bright and good natured kid with a fascination with flora and fauna along with major self esteem issues observed early on in his life obsessed with being deemed useful by just about everyone around him. With almost all his family all being enlisted in some branch of the UNSC military meant he lost most of his available family by the time he was 11 to the Human-Covenant War leading to a growing hatred towards the Covenant which made him a prime candidate for the Spartan III program.

Throughout his training he showed great leadership capabilities leading to him being put in charge of a Spartan Fireteam, Gold Team, comprised of himself and two fellow Spartan III’s, Alexis-A084, and Jay-A122 they were rotated out of the company prior to its destruction during OPERATION: PROMETHEUS and were sent on any kind of mission from asset recovery to assassinations.
