Oh my gawd, why isn't this in my gallery?!?Probably one of my most well known Halo fanart images. It's even on the Halo 2 LE bonus DVD in a hidden fan art gallery!!
This was drawn BEFORE Halo2, back in early 2004 (the theme was suggested to me by Louis Wu of Halo.Bungie.Org).
Good thing I noticed it wasn't up here for whatever reason. Sheesh!

wow awesome... I love everything in this pic, the theme, the colors and textures, and the raining effect and background really make this pretty powerful. You can really feel the tension between these two as well.

As several others have pointed, there is a clear tension between those two races and an inevitable conflict is about to mark the galaxy.
Because, without the Elites the humans would have gotten WTFpwnd

I remember this. Impressive, it created the aura of tension between both races, and the enormous conflict that would ensue with their bloody rivalry. One of my favourites.

nice that elite will pwn that brute!i do dislike halo but the levels with the arbiter are definetly my favourite and so are the elites whenever i play legendary i always get killed by elites! XD
