Funny coincidence: I recently finished Bioshock Infinite (about a couple weeks ago, give or take) so this is pretty good timing, eh?
I REALLY like the take you give Elizabeth's look, and probably proof that she's got a real nice outfit in Burial At Sea (which, alas, I have yet to play. Damn expensive DLCs.) And I love Elizabeth having bigger curves; her Disney heroine-level skinniness actually makes her look a bit more generic, I feel, since there's so many characters with her build. So perhaps she's just a tad older here and the combination of ADAM and tear powers made her big to match her badassery!
...Or perhaps she just indulged in some cosmetic Plasmids to make her more curvy. (Or to give her more heft in combat.) Don't you love it when the setting already gives you room to make a plausible reason for making characters curvier?

Actually, the Elizabeth in the early game WAS curvier, but testers complained that her boobs were actually too big, so she was made thinner.

Huh, that makes a lot of sense. It probably cut down on the amount of people who would have assumed their relationship was romantic when it's supposed to be father/daughter.
I looked it up and she doesn't even seem noticably bigger, she just shows more (also apparently her eyes were bigger and she had a more child-like personality, which seems more off-putting than just being busty). Given that, it seems an odd thing for people to complain about, so maybe they wanted her to look younger or something?
