Here's what I personally think the story behind Underfell Asriel could be:
After following Frisk and its noble persuits to the end, he takes Frisk's soul and reveals his true intent. He beleives he caused the death of Chara, but only felt the remorse after he himself died and came back as Flowey, and despite his ability to control time, he could only go so far, never able to SAVE Chara. But when Frisk arrived, he saw another way to save Chara. He would use the Determination in Frisk's soul to become the "Demon of Resurrection." Frisk contemplated giving up to fulfill Asriel's hopes and dreams. But during their battle, Chara's Lost Soul appeared before them. The soul attacks them, but they're SAVED by Frisk causing Chara to turn to Asriel and say they forgive him. Chara then begs Asriel to take their soul and use it to shatter the barrier, so the people who have come to care about him can be free.
"Because of what I have done, I doubt anyone cares about me anymore... but for you, Frisk, I will move on."
And with his newfound Determination, he destroyed the barrier with everything he had.

I may know absolutely nothing about any AUs besides Dreemurr Reborn, but this doesn't look like Underfell or anything like that, just looks like a normal Asriel/Flowey drawing.

I mean, it's still a kickass Asriel/Flowey drawing.

I love these kinds of drawings, in fact this is one of my favorites, it's really cool, also the Flowey is so adorable to me
