Description Garrus Vakarian, from Mass effect, possibly one of the most kick-arse aliens ever!
This was painted for my housemate who is absolutely in love with this series, and in particular, Garrus.
It took a little while to work out how to paint his 'skin', since its not exactly something I've done before.

Thanks I found using a bevel/ emboss layer made it much quicker

Its kind of like etching in details. Thats how I did all the lines on his skin. make a layer of neutral grey and set it to multiply/ overlay/ screen whichever is least intrusive and scratch away by erasing
