thank you very much, i'm not too sure about portraits, some poeple say i shouldnt have shadow, but i think that's a traditional rule that is old and doesn't matter that much anymore...

yep a lot of us ignore the rules of thirds as well. If it looks good and you get good feedback then don't worry about it your style is your own! HNY

good point.. I usually like the rule of thirds, but it dont ALWAYS work well
