I like it! I think, though, that you should add some shading to it. Also, keep the lines consistent. Where are the ones on his kimono-thing? Try to vary the shading a bit. Also try looking at some face and eye tutorials to get the proportions correct. Hope that helps~

I think he is a nice looking character design wise. The colors are a little over saturated in my opinion though. According to the color studying I've been doing maybe try using a deeper shade of red? I mean no offence by this, just trying to help. I like the hair style and eyes

Hehe, To be honest, the reason is a bit silly and weird.
Well, I was browsing the Japanese of the internet, for art and such, and fumbling my way with a Google Translator
Anyhow, I just see this translation "Jay Error"... It's just completely random and makes no sense at all XD But it kind of just stuck in my head, and to me it was a bit cool as well. So I used it for my first character, and my username~ !

Haha, it's cropped (At the time of this WIP, his hands were more like lumps of coal than a hand).
The entire lineart is complete now, it's just the coloring and shading to go, if I can find some time to draw (life is so busy busy BUSY lately...)

Yep, I need to practise shading and also creases/folds... These are my weakest points !!
Though I've been so busy the past few weeks, I've had not even a single moment, to sit and draw anything!

Nice work! I would work in your anatomy. Look up some poses or stock photos, or maybe even draw from life. Then once you got that down, work on things like shading and poses.

I did use a reference pose for this (I'll post the link when I put the finished work and scrap this WIP), but anatomy is definitely a thing to work on (well, everything is a thing to work on!) especially hands... I swear that hands are the incarnation of E V I L!
