I wanted to make a fanart of this movie as soon as I finished watching it.
2020 was definitely a rough year, and this movie happened to release on a really bad timing considering the plot is about people that are forced to live underground to survive from an apocalypse that changed the shape of this world.
However, this was trully a pleasant surprise. Even if it contains a few flaws and can be cheesy at times, it was still a really tense, heart-warming and emotional experience. I also applaud the fact that they tried their best to use practical effects for the creatures when possible, the first "encounter" felt really realistic mainly because of the lack of CGI.
All in all, it's a really entertaining movie with an interesting story, great creature designs, appealing characters and a fantastic world building. I definitely recommend it!

Also, for those who follow me for my Zootopia webcomic, progress is still being made. I just have a hard time figuring out what style I should go for
