We're back to obscuritytale lore!!

This time we're going to explore some other characters called Ken and Kennedy.

In the old version of Obscuritytale there was another soul called AMBITION SOUL it wasn't a natural soul in fact it was artificially created by humans during the war just to up their chances at winning. I don't remember much from ambition soul lore i'll have to go back but from what I can recall, because ambition souls were made with just synthesized elements or such they have missing chromosomes which can lead to a lot of mutations for examples a underdeveloped nose, eyes, extra arms, MISSING OR ADDING CHROMOSOMES CAN MEAN DISASTER. But from what I remember ambition souls were meant to replicate determination souls on one condition that they just INFLATE their determination to that they hyperfocus on things to the point that they'd be willing to die for a cause and made them extremely aggressive programmed that if they see a monster to literally just kill them on sight. But once the humans won the war, they had no need for ambition souls. What happened to ambition souls? Well most were shunned killed or just concealed away because imagine having these freaks in your normal world!

Kennedy, an ambition soul is able to escape and discover a small monster by the name of Ken.

A fun fact about Ken, Ken was supposed to be a human powered by another soul called a COMPASSION SOUL. Not artificially made but a soul not fully recognized as its own soul because of how weak it was, and most people just assumed the only thing Compassion souls could be were doctors, artists, musicians, and writers. I was going to have Ken be carried by Kennedy in a small backpack because he was very small and have Kennedy have a pet fish to go along with it. But... I eventually realized an ambition soul and monster influenced human souls were already pushing the limit and adding another soul just made Obscuritytale too complicated and overdetailed.

AND TO BE HONEST- I really wanted to experiment with making monster designs like I did with Brayden so I went for making Ken into a small fish.

Remember how I said ambition souls usually have a lot of physical imparities? Kennedy is unable to see, she has underdeveloped eyes. That's why Ken is here! Ken is Kennedy's eyes and he's basically a friend and an extension to her he guides her throughout the underground. Kennedy carries ken in her hands or in a roller backpack she has.

In original Obscuritytale, Ken and Kennedy were suppose to stay with Napstablook and meant as characters to explore the waterfall zone and just so poor Napstablook, mad dummy, and other waterfall characters could have some spotlight.

These designs are not final though I do think i'm getting close with Ken's design. I really hope to bring these characters into the revised version of obscuritytale because I feel like they can have some interesting pontential ESPECIALLY CONSIDERING A MOMENT WHERE KENNEDY GOES BESERK TRYING TO KILL NAPSTABLOOK AND HE'S LIKE- uhh i'm dead.... AND THEY JUST STARE AT EACH OTHER AWKWARDLY URVUHRVJVURVIJEJCIRVURVUHTJVRCEJ I'M GONNA LOVE THAT.
