I'm a big fan of the long forgotten Marvel heroes of the 80's, and Tigra's one of my faves. So here's my interpretation. In case anyone's curious, I'm up for selling the original if there's a buyer. Let me know.Related content

if you're looking for obscure...try finding any web woman art...you know those short episodes they had in the 70's during the tarzan and the super seven filmation cartoons on cbs....marvel found out about it prior to airing and created spider woman so as to have the rightsto the name. only place i could find web woman was on you tube!

Nah--I just thought: She's pretty much a jungle cat. Give her a jungle-ish precipice to dangle her tootsies off of. I'm a much bigger fan of drawing outdoorsy backdrops than cityscapes anyway, so it was a natural choice.

That's one well-drawn stretch you got there. Unfortunately, I'm not too familiar with the character herself, but you still drew her quite nicely!

I'm finding now that there's been a lot of Tigra fan art on DA, which sucks for me, because I thought I was fan-arting (or farting) a long forgotten character! Now I feel like a Johnny-come-lately, which despite being a very old phrase sounds decidedly naughty.

Considering the raw deal Tigra got under Bendis' pencil, some of us fans are almost wishing she had been forgotten... at least by the current staff at Marvel.
