"I'm being summoned by the Gods? For them to come this far... they must be desperate".---
This is my final work of 2018! I would like to say thank you, the support has been great. I don't think anyone has gone through the year scotch free without any challenges, right... RIGHT? (if you did, note me... lol! :>)
I think I've made about 31+ something art this year, that's 40+ something art less than last year... but who's checking lol.
I guess being inactive for about 4 months can cause that. But hey, at least I don't have 12 artworks a year... *cough* ErikShoemaker At the end of the year, I still tried to play catch up and submitted around 6 artworks in less than two weeks... I can go sleep now. Well, I hope for a productive and inspirational 2019 for you and me. Happy new year!

This here piece of artwork is currently amoung my favorite pieces of art - every single bit of it appeals to me in the art sense.
The main character, this angel/dark angel is stunningly drawn, and that symbol on her back makes you wonder what this is all about.
The glowing yellow chain's holding her are really interesting, aswell as the way she seems to be disintegrating - is she being prevented from leaving or, more likely, are these chains bringing her into being and preventing her from leaving
The scenery of the empty grave yard around her definitely give it a forbidden, dark, ritual/summoning feel.
The icing on the cake is the visuals of the top of the upside down city, as if she is being brought from this dark, graveyard realm to a modern realm, but for what purpose?
The only problem I have with this art is the fact that I cant tell what that is that is right in the viewer's face - is it a headstone with chain's attached? I can't really tel.
But overall, this art is a masterpiece and shows how far you have come! I can't wait to see what you will do in 2019.

To clear up some things for you:
The red and yellow symbol is a seal, which binds her to the underworld and those chains are apart of the seal - the glowing signifies that it's being broken. Those headstones are other dark angels who died and then sealed... So graves in the underworld. And yes, the city is there to show that she's being dragged into the modern world.

The upside down modern city in the distance is a nice touch and seems indicator of where she's being summoned to.
