I actually finished this one yesterday, but I'm staying by Lake Powell on my vacation and the wi-fi is pretty flakey here, so I didn't feel like uploading it until today. Here's the next apprentice on the list, and the only one with an adult ref sheet due to him receiving his full medicine cat name. This here is Dustdapple. ^^

I used the same lineart as Cloudshade, as they're both meant to resemble their leaner mother. However, I made him a bit thinner than his brother, as Cloudshade is meant to be a little more muscular. Cloudshade is a trained warrior, after all, while Dustdapple is a medicine cat, so I figure he'd be more muscular. Like his brother, he's got a thickish medium pelt, a triangular face, and average features and ears. He's a medicine cat, so he hasn't got many scars, but I decided to give him at least one nick in his ear, as he was around in the Code's Battle and might've gotten caught up in the fight.

His pattern is exactly the same as on his kit and young-apprentice sheets. The stripes on his haunch are shifted around due to the different angle, but it's still the same pattern. I'm still very fond of his pattern, with the broken markings on his chest, and the pale green eyes, and his dappled stripes, after which he is named, as well as his pale dusty-brown pelt. I'm pretty happy with how he turned out here. ^^

I didn't get to show this much in the books, but I see Dustdapple as being a bit of a socially awkward stick-in-the-mud. He's a really good medicine cat, and he's really dedicated to it and passionate about it, but he's so focused on his training and so determined to work as hard as possible that he never really has time for anything else. He's really bad at telling when other cats are joking, he takes things a bit too literally, and is generally awkward around his Clanmates. He doesn't have much time for games or joking, and doesn't understand why his Clanmates don't take his work as seriously as he does. He's a nice tom, and a great healer and very compassionate, he just doesn't know how to talk to other cats very well.
