Now to start on the next litter of cats to design. This time it's Clovertail and Patchfoot's litter, and we're starting with Honeyflower. Since Hawkwing's Journey is not canon to EOTW, the warrior name (Honeytail) and physical description she was given in that book aren't EOTW canon either, so for EOTW she gets a different description and warrior name, hence her being called Honeyflower here.

In the SkyClan and the Stranger graphic novels, Honeyflower had a nice, thick-looking pelt, so I tried to replicate that here. She gets her thick pelt from Patchfoot, but it's even thicker than his, and very sleek and soft. I decided to make her on the smaller side, with a lithe build from her mother. I don't imagine her as the strongest hunter or fighter in the Clan, but she still works hard for her Clan, and is happy enough hunting what she can and then helping out in the medicine den and nursery rather than overworking herself trying to prove herself stronger than she is. She gets a few scars, since she is still a warrior and has been in some fights, but not a ton.

Like I said, her ginger description from Hawkwing's Journey isn't canon to EOTW, so I came up with my own description for her pattern here. Since she's shown as a solid-colored cat in SkyClan and the Stranger and not a tabby, and rather light-colored at that, I decided to make her a light brown cat like her mother, only without any white on her pelt. I think this works well to represent her solid pelt in SATS, and it just looks good on her in general, and it makes her look like her mom without being identical.

She's a slightly darker shade of her mother's light brown, with a bit more reddish belly colors than Clovertail's. Her nose and ears are a darker shade of her mother's, while her scar color was just chosen to go well with her pelt. Since the rest of her coloration comes so much from her mother, I decided to make her eyes a paler shade of her father's green, to give her a bit more in common with her dad physically. So she's got pale green eyes with her light brown pelt - I think it's a good combo.

Overall, I'm really happy with how she turned out. And next I get to try and make Sandyfoot's design look realistic - and after that I may very well sneak in a certain ginger-legged half-tailed tom from AVOS before designing Birdshade.
