EDIT: Decided to change up her design a bit to make her look more like her dad and a bit more distinct from Firestar. She now has a fully pale neck with no stripes, and a dark fade on her back and tail.

Since I made a new lineart for Firestar, that means Sparkpelt's ref sheet gets an upgrade as well. ^^ Her colors are the same as before other than a lighter scar color, and her pattern just got a few tweaks to make her more similar to Firestar's new tweaked design. I'm way happier with how she looks with this lineart, and it's nice to see how similar she looks to Firestar, but still with a few differences. She has her mother's light green eyes instead of Firestar's darker ones, she has smaller ears and isn't as broad in the chest, and her colors and pattern are slightly different. Still, she's pretty much the image of him. ^^

I’ve been meaning to make a design for this girl for a while now, ever since she and her brother earned their full names, and since I made an adult ref sheet for her brother. So here, finally, is my design for Sparkpelt. ^^

The lineart is kinda bugging me now, but I wanted her to look similar to Firestar, and I didn’t feel like making a new sheet for him already after making one so short a time ago, so she gets Firestar’s lineart. I dunno, something about the eyes and just the anatomy or something is bugging me now, but I dunno.

Anyway, I did make some tweaks. She has smaller ears than Firestar, more of an average ear size, and her face and muzzle are a bit more narrow than Firestar’s. She’s not quite as muscular as Firestar either, her chest and hips aren’t quite as broad as his, though she’s still got some muscle on her since she’s a warrior.

Her paws are also a bit smaller. Her tail is just as long as his, though. I only gave her a few scars since she’s a young warrior, and probably wouldn’t have earned a lot of them yet.

I changed her pattern and colors from her apprentice sheet. I decided to try and incorporate at least a little of her parents’ designs in hers, so I tried to base her striping off of her mother. Her forehead stripes are a simplified version of her mother’s, though her eye stripes are more like Firestar’s.

Her chest stripes and leg stripes are also meant to highly resemble Squirrelflight’s, and her side and hip stripes are meant to be similar, though she kind of got her father’s thicker stripes on her sides. Other than that, the belly fur placement is the same as on Firestar.

I dulled down her colors a bit from her apprentice sheet, since they were a bit over-saturated, and a bit too similar to each other. Her main fur color is a lighter and less saturated shade of Firestar’s. Her stripe color is actually her mother’s main fur color, and it’s less dark against her fur than Firestar’s stripes.

Her darker belly fur color is a lighter and more saturated shade of Firestar’s, and her lighter belly color is less saturated than Firestar’s. Her nose is the same as Firestar’s, and her ears are a touch lighter and less saturated. Her scar color is a lighter shade of Firestar’s.

Originally, I was gonna give her Firestar’s eyes, but then I realized that I could make her resemble her mother more by giving her Squirrelflight’s eyes. So I gave her the same shade of green eyes as Squirrelflight. ^^ I think all of those little changes are just enough to make Sparkpelt look distinctive and different from Firestar, and clearly her own cat, while still looking nearly identical. ^^

Overall, I’m fairly happy with this, the pattern and the colors more than the anatomy. ^^ At least now both of the Squirrelflight and Bramblestar kits from the canon series are done, the ones that made it to adulthood anyway. Now I just gotta find the time to design Violetshine and Twigbranch.
