Maythen, from my comic Heart Hunter (still stuck in the early stages of pre-production hell). I wanted to avoid my trend of just drawing Random Floating People with no background or composition lately, so I pushed myself to sketch in her house behind her, and I really like how it came out! I'm still rendering this atm, so I'll post the full version sometimes within the next 9999999 years.

One fun thing about Heart Hunter is that, though it's in black and white like all my comics (sorry, manga influence + full-time student...) there IS actually one colour I plan to use. Red! Red is really important to the story since it's a vampire romance, so it can be tied back to both the imagery of blood and it's connotations to love n stuff. If u look closely u can see Maythen's pricked her finger so even that, along w the roses, are coloured in even though the rest o the image is black and white :3
