This was taken on our trip to San Antonio. We were walking around on the Riverwalk, just enjoying the scenery, taking pics. The colors of the trees are just beautiful IMHO and in the middle of January. Be jealous of the peeps who live there.

25 years ago I visited the Riverwalk while visiting friends further north in San Marcos... it was as beautiful then as this pic indicates (doesn't do the reality any justice, tho, does it?) and I didn't know it was there when I started walking around... I just ran across it by accident, as it's a story below the normal street level. One of the neatest ideas I have ever seen in city structure. This picture is grand in its portrayal of it.

You are absolutely correct, the picture does that place NO justice. It is just beautiful. Plain and simple. It is a great idea. I saw people jogging, couples walking together, families eating. It really is a nice positive place. Thank you for liking it so much.

There really is a lot to do in the area. You can walk through the riverwalk, the mall, the alamo and downtown. Its all real close by. We totally walked it. It was wonderful. I really hope you enjoy your time there. I'm sure you will. I'm glad you liked the pic so much. I appreciate it.

They give a whole history of the city. I went years ago and it was nice. Didn't do it this time. Looked nice.

I had an early dinner at one of the restaurants on the Riverwalk and it was an incredible setting with the water, the boats, the greenery; you have captured the whole scene beautifully.
