my first thought was wow thats the entrance to the middle of the world ... like in the book "reise zum mittelpunkt der erde" by Jules Verne - the steps twisted up to a little cave where you can climb down to the middle ... or maybe even to australia ... btw i am back and tiered - was a lot of fun i will tell you soon the details

I like when you can look at something, you know what it is, and yet it looks so much like something else that it can be both. This looks so much like a cliff-face, it really could be that too.... Would be an interesting manip to insert a guy climbing up the side of this

Weeee . that's beautiful - I imagine it would be more powerful, if it was a bit larger (lke 1600x1200) - but it looks really nice

maybe you can do a little retouching to give some fake-depth

lol was just on the frontpage of dA and this caught my eye....
It's great! You hardly ever see artists paying an overly amount of attention on the tree trunk instead of the tree overall

I love the patterns along the wood and with the blue sky as a backdrop...very nice!!
