i like the original and the remix! are you the one requesting my work? well, thanks! you'll laugh because i just requested some of yours! i have A LOT of groups, so some are very specific and some focus on other things, so i may have requested the same thing for different groups. you have very polished and original art. you work in a lot of mediums, and i think that that is the hallmark of a good artist.
i've just been looking at this guy's feet for quite awhile, they are incredibly detailed and best of all, the points on anything that's that supposed to have sharp point, i want them to be like this, the points on the feet and they are so sharp and clean---if i work really hard with a really small pen or sharp pencil, i have a hard time making them that good. were you able to draw them traditionally, or did you spiff it up digitally?
i'm going to put you on my watch list! if (see signature) you're interested in any of the groups or just want to check them out, i think you'll like them.

This is really awesome! I'm not really great at critiques for things that overwhelm me with awe, but I'll explain in detail why I love this:
The background almost gives it an ancient feel, but still very alien, like this is a species drawing from one of (the alien-planet version of) Lewis and Clark's expeditions.
That fits in very nicely with the hand-drawn shading that you kept from the original drawing.
But the intricate, colorful, iridescent pattern that you put on the alien creature really brings it together. It's so gorgeous, and it follows the folds/flab of the creature absolutely perfectly.

I love this one! Very alien. The background the colours work really well! Have you considered doing more than one on a sheet at once? -like a gathering?
