You sighed as you continued flipping rapidly through the many pointless channels on television.

Nothing to watch on a Sunday.

'No surprise there.'

You sighed once again as you stopped on a random channel, folding your arms across your chest in a very bored manner.

"_____? Would you like some pancakes?" A kind, gentle voice suddenly called from over by the kitchen.

"Have I ever turned down one of your luscious and super scrumptious pancakes before, Mattie?"

"I guess not..." He murmured quietly, smiling to himself since he had someone enjoy his breakfast so very much.

Seeing how your question answered his question, your eyes soon darted back to the screen, which was currently playing a commercial.

Normally you hated commercials, but not when one so adorable and precious as this one was playing.

You smiled as you watched the Pillsbury Doughboy stand by some chocolate chip cookies being baked and advertised. Soon getting a soft poke to his Pillsbury tummy, he let out the famous giggle he was known for, causing you to giggle a bit as well.

Curiously looking back over to where Matthew was standing in the kitchen, you studied some products circling around him, most of them actually belonging to the Pillsbury Company.

'We sure have a bunch of Pillsbury stuff, don't we?'

Averting your eyes over to the very end of the counter a bit further away from the 'pancake' station, you scanned them where a white chef hat lay there. It was a gift from Francis to Matthew when he moved out of their home, among some other nice presents he gave his son before he came to live here with you.

Finally you studied Matthew himself standing over by the stove, displaying his usual talented pancake-flipping performance.

That's when the ultimate realization dawned on you.

Suddenly having an idea, you turned off the TV and set the remote back down on the couch.

Picking up the white chef hat with a fancy 'M.W.' embroidered at the bottom of it, you sauntered over to where your boyfriend stood in the kitchen and silently waited for him to turn around as he now finished cooking the pancakes.

As he did, you placed the hat on top of his head and briefly poked him in the stomach before he could acknowledge your presence.

A small yelp was heard along with a bit of a startled Canadian.

“_____, what was that for?” He asked, holding onto his stomach. It was probably the surprise that got him more than the actual poke.

“I just wanted to test out my suspicions.”

“Suspicions on what?”

"You don't have to pretend. I know your true identity, Matthew Williams. If that's even your real name."

"What do you mean?" The blonde raised one eyebrow, curious what you were talking about.

“I know that you’re secretly the Pillsbury Doughboy, of course."

Seeing you were up to your usual silly and playful antics, he played along.

“And what makes you think that?”

“The amount of Pillsbury products scattered around the kitchen, the white chef hat you own and have on there," You pointed to it now worn on his head, "your blue eyes, how soft and gentle you are; there’s just so much evidence, I can go on.” You paused before adding, "Not to mention how cute and lovable you are as well." You smiled with a tinge of pink on your cheeks.

You noticed some forming on Matthew's also as he murmered, "I guess I've been caught."

That's when you had to eye the bits of dough stained on his cheeks and nose.

“Wow.. you really are a doughboy." You said in pretend awe, but soon broke into a fit of giggles.

You watched his cheeks glow a bit red under the specks of flour but he calmly stated, "If I'm the Pillsbury Doughboy, then you're my warm, delightful little toaster stroodle." Shuffling closer to you, he cuddled you in his arms affectionately.

"Or....." He paused as he placed a delicate kiss onto your lips, lightly brushing his nose against yours.

"Maybe you're secretly the Pillsbury Doughgirl too." He grinned as he looked over at your nose now covered a bit in dough.

"But there is no Pillbury Doughgirl.." You mumbled.

"Then would you like to settle for being the toaster instead?" He teased lightly.

"What? I ain't no toaster!"

"I guess we're a Pillsbury Dough couple then." He smiled as he brought his hand over to yours, lacing your fingers together.

"You know what?" Giving his hand a small squeeze, you looked up directly at Matthew and smiled.

"Both you and your alter ego are adorable, but Matthew Williams wins hands down."
