When I was putting together my compilation of 6 years worth of art sta.sh/01901t9tck2q , a trend stuck out to me. The anatomy was improving, the characterization though, not so much... basically the characters were looking more and more boring. The characters looked very stiff, and there wasn't much personality happening. This occurred to me, courtesy of my uncle, who encouraged me to try to put more "life" into my drawings.

This drawing is partly an effort to practice putting more "life" into my drawings, and to challenge myself. BUT most importantly, because you can't ever have too much Viking Nordics...

Also, Nor's expression is just so... "It pains me to dirty my sword with your blood... all the wet wipes in the world won't be enough."
