Description This is the Ravenous Class warship, the Tsunaak. Of all of the numerous Mondian warships known to exist during the Post-Imperial Era, the Tsunaak was by far the most feared and hated.

A super-capital class ship of immense proportions, the vessel was constructed by Alani Heavy Industries in secret in a dead system in deep space. The nine-kilometer long ship could best nearly any Felorian or Cave-Grove warship of equal or lesser size due to its powerful and experimental weaponry. She was utilized in countless raids on colony worlds and supply lines alike, as the Mondian Corruption spread through the less fortified outer systems. However, due to its gargantuan size, the ship left behind a sizeable tachyon trail in transit, and would present an easily detectable time-space prewake some time before arriving in a system. Unfortunately for most, even with these warning signs there was little that could be done to prepare for a Mondian boarding party.

Ships like the Tsunaak would literally slam themselves into their prey, piercing its hull with dozens of boarding pylons and dumping raiders into the now helpless ships innards. Mondian raiders were well armed and trained, and usually completely insane. They were lead by corrupted psychics and former military commanders, so their tactics were impossible to match at best. While the first line of defense was usually slaughtered in horrific and gruesome manners by the Mondian soldiers' Rendinguns, the majority of crews and passengers were taken alive and intact, if not traumatized. They would be used for the various twisted Viefdan rituals that the Mondian clerics would practice after successful raids, and some would inevitably end up supplementing the ever-growing Congregation.

The Tsunaak
The Tsunaak takes its name from Vief Tsunaak, the creation goddess in the Viefdan religion. Mondas is a corruption of Pure Viefda, worshiping instead the immortal unpsychic Tsanner Daetsel. The religion believes that since Tsanner Daetsel cannot die and is the only non-psychic capable of killing psychics, he is destined to kill God Herself and take her place. This ship served as Tsanners flagship and mobile fortress for years, from the Day of Ascertainment to his fall during The Loss. It is said that on the Day of Ascertainment, when Tsanner was found by his followers that they christened his ship by painting its halls in their own blood, but this is doubted since there are hundreds of miles of corridors within the ship, and the crew would have certainly perished if they'd tried this.

The Tsunaak is based off of my previous model: and was rendered in sketchup and kerkythea, with everything else done in photoshop.

I realize the stripes on that ship are not merely pained on it's hull but this image reminds me so much of the great 70's sci fi illustrator Chris Foss!

Very very cool.

Hmmm, given your love of sci-fi space opera I have to ask: Are you a fan of Masters of Orion and/or Twilight Imperium?

Well, they can be killed like any other human, and are in droves during The Loss.

Very nice... very simple... very intimidating. The entire feel of it is super cool. If I were in the Star Trek universe and I saw this, I would shit myself.

If I saw this not in the star-trek universe, I'd actually probably be more likely to shit myself. Imagine that hovering over Boston...

It's wider than Boston XD
But yeah, this thing would eat the Enterprise and its crew alive. Screaming. Begging for mercy. Pooping.
