I have no idea what she is doing, she could either be excitedly waving to someone, or trying to reach something, or climb a wall, or dancing, or posing as a model, or trying to flag down a taxi, or attempting to catch something, or high-fouring somone, or raising her hand in class, or doing something that involves this pose!

The "centaurs" or Khnierons are not a native species to Midden. They arrived during the Great War, with a spall fleet of colony ships crashing on the shores of the Green Sea. They sat the war out, watching as each side hammered each other with more and more advanced weapons and technology. When the war ended, they contacted the Vulpesants who transported the 1000 or so survivors to Vulpesant Country, where they eventually found homes and jobs, especially easilly due to their knowledge of advanced technology and other things that both the Vulpesants and the Venrocks would find useful. Such as the "Atomic Matter Transferance Ray", which found it's uses in the mines of Midden since it can be used as a mass transporter to move material over hundreds of miles nearly instantly.
