Description Mostly, this drawing was an experiment in transparency. Vontas' dress is a piece of reworked Felorian military hardware, made from "smart" nanofabric. The dress was originally meant to be worn as a cloak or "hide" which a sniper or commando would use to sneak behind enemy lines undetected. The technology worked relatively well, as unless the soldier was going up against psychics, her physical form would be effectively hidden from sight. Other measures were used to camouflage heat from breath and electromagnetic body radiation, as the dress shielded most other passive radiation the body emitted.

But yeah, I'd always wanted to draw a girl in an invisible dress, without simply not coloring in the areas that the dress was covering. Enjoy!

Thanks man! Might have to redo this picture with a background, to show the slight distortion that the fabric produces.

That's a very interesting concept. From the way you detailed her, it does raise a very interesting question. Would an invisible dress still allow for the play of shadows?

Beautifully done.

I think it would, but they'd be a bit less defined due to the luminescent nature of the fabric.
