Bio: Rawa No Musuko

“Do you know why I call you Pingu? It’s your energy, and that beautiful smile.”

A young Dralung, Rawa was born in New Draconia. He met Yu Yan and her ‘Uncle’ Langley when all three of them were at an outdoor market, unintentionally setting up a ‘crash-into hello’ due to his distraction over how pretty Yu Yan looked to him and the surprise of seeing the young dragoness’s robotic companion. After the resulting chaos that included the instinctual application of rifle butt to cranium, the dazed drake finally managed to explain himself, now sporting an ice pack from Langley on his forehead. Yu Yan was sorry about clobbering him, and profusely apologized, though Rawa reassured her that he understood her reaction.

Full Name: Rawa No Musuko (‘Son of the River’ in Japanese)

Nicknames: ‘Koi Boy’ (from Tracy), Rawi (from Yu Yan)

Age: 25 (in 3187)

Date of Birth: June 4th, 3162

Homeworld: Minecraftia, the nation of New Draconia

Height: 5’6” human, 8 feet to the withers and 15 feet to the tip of the horns as a dragon

Preferred Outfit: Robes that match his natural form’s colors

Special Skills: Talented in the arts of Empath and Aura magic, Rawa can read a lot about somebody easily
Personality: Kind, compassionate, and helpful, Rawa is often called ‘sweet’ by Yu Yan’s mother. Both parents were happy to see what was developing, as the drake’s gentle personality wouldn’t overwhelm their daughter. Rawa is very understanding of Yu Yan’s insecurities and fears and would never try to force something she’s uncomfortable with. He has helped her anxiety about intimacy a bit, but there is still a long road to go, one Rawa is happy to take the slow path on. He has a fierce side though, one that inevitably comes out when he or his loved ones are threatened, causing him to viciously attack through words or rarely actions those who hurt those close to him. He has precious little control over this and can craft emotionally devastating verbal smackdowns by using his powers to directly skewer his opponent’s fears and insecurities.

Well, it took a while to fit this adopted character into my story, but I finally did it. Meet Rawa, everybody. He ended up moving to Greenfield to live with Yu Yan, and though it took him a year to work up to even close cuddling with Yu Yan, he's happy to take things slow because he loves her. Though Yu Yan may not like the fact that he often takes her mother's side in debates about visiting the OB/GYN, he is still one of the most important people in her life, as she wants him with her when she's upset. This is something only previously afforded to her uncle Langley. Nowadays when she's had a bad day or is upset with something, she will usually end up dragging Rawa to her living quarters aboard Langley for a cuddle.
